Kitzbühel celebrates overtime-win in Austrian clash

The EC Die Adler Kitzbühel celebrated a narrow 3:2 overtime victory at the EC KAC II. The decisive goal was scored by Patrick Bolterle just after 36 seconds in overtime. The victory puts Kitzbühel on 14th place in the league table, only one place behind Klagenfurt.

The EC “die Adler” Kitzbühel celebrated a 3:2 overtime win against the EC-KAC. With that win Kitzbühel is still in contact with the midfield of the table. The EC KAC II is still ahead with three points but the Carinthians have absolved three games more already. The EC-KAC II started efficiently into the game and created a 2:0 lead in the firs period. Then the eagles started their comeback late in the first period, scoring their first goal of the night. Manuel Rosenlechner equalized the game in the second. After a final period with no goals the decision had to be taken in overtime. Patrick Boltere needed 36 seconds only for the game winning goal.
