After their 6–2 season-opening win against Gherdeina, Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel followed up with a 6–3 victory over Asiago. For the Italians, it was already the second heavy defeat, after losing 1–5 to Ritten in their opener. Kitzbühel led 2–0 after the first period and quickly extended their lead to 4–0 in the middle frame. Maxa scored the 4–0 and later added goals to make it 5–2 and 6–2, securing his hat trick. Asiago’s Lucas Chiodo scored twice, but his efforts weren’t enough to prevent defeat.

Sterzing claims Derby in Overtime
In a fiercely contested South Tyrol derby, the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan defeated the Rittner Buam SkyAlps 2–1/OT. Canadian newcomer Franco Sproviero was the hero, scoring both Broncos goals: first in the 35th minute for 1–0, and then the game-winner on the power play in overtime. Tobias Graf equalized for Ritten in the 43rd minute. It was Sterzing’s second win of the season, while Ritten suffered their first loss.

First win of the season for Meran
After a 0–3 loss to Cortina in their opener, HC Meran/o Pircher earned their first victory of the season with a 3–2/OT win against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors. Salzburg struck first through Benedikt Krainer (24’), but Meran turned the game around with goals from Daniel Gellon (28’) and David Trivellato (33’). Fabian Baumann tied it with less than two minutes remaining, but Tommaso Traversa netted the game-winner in the 64th minute.

Gherdeina bounce back strong
After their 2–6 defeat in Kitzbühel, HC Gherdeina valgardena.it responded in style, beating S.G. Cortina Hafro 6–1. Luke Moncada opened the scoring after just 72 seconds, and Adam Brady doubled the lead less than two minutes later. Luca Biondi made it 3–0 in the 12th minute. Cortina pulled one back in the 30th minute, but Brady restored the three-goal cushion shortly after. Two more goals in the final period sealed the comfortable win.

Sisak secure confident road victory
KHL Sisak enjoyed a clear 5–0 away win over the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. The Croatians led 2–0 after the first period and added three more in the final frame.
