Koblar and Kalan stay in Ljubljana

Four-time Slovenian champion Gregor Koblar will continue to play for HK SZ Olimpija next season. For the 29-year-old it will be the third season in total with the "Dragons". Last season the forward scored 20 points. In addition, 29-year-old center Luka Kalan will continue to play for Ljubljana.

In addition to Slovenia, Gregor Koblar has also played in Poland (Unia Oswiecim), Austria (Zell am See and Red Bull Eishockey Akademie), Czech Republic (HC Zubr Přerov), as well as France (Lyon). However, the 29-year-old celebrated his greatest successes all in Ljubljana. He was crowned Slovenian champion four times with HK SZ Olimpija and its predecessor Olimpija Ljubljana. The forward also won the Alps Hockey League once (2019).

The 29-year-old Luka Kalan has also won the Slovenian championship four times so far. The center spent most of his career in his native Slovenia, in Ljubljana and Jesenice. Last season he played 23 games, scoring 18 points.
