The 17th round of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga starts the last weekend before the international break. Four Austrian Duels are on the schedule on Friday as well as the game between the Black Wings Linz and the KHL Medvesczak Zagreb. The 17th round will be closed on Saturday with the game between the Fehervar AV19 and the HCB Südtriol Alperia.

- Salzburg scored 18 goals in the past three games, the VSV only five.

- The Capitals won the first duel with 6:3
- After 12 consecutive wins the Caps had to take three defeats lately.
- Innsbruck won six out of eight home games.
- Innsbruck is the most efficient team oft he league, they convert 11,25% of their shots and already scored 55 goals (second best in league.)
- The Caps struggled with their scoring efficiency in the past three games.
Serge Aubin, Headcoach Caps: „Innsbruck is very dangerous in front of the goal and at their home rink very successful. They only lost two out of eight games at home. We need to be focused for 60 minutes and keep the puck away from our goal.”
Philipp Lindner, Defender Innsbruck: „We need to deliver a constant performance over 60 minutes, this was our problem in the past games. With good results we have the possibility to work a good position before the break.”

- Linz won the first duel oft he season with 5:4 after penalty shoot out
- Zagreb collected only four points on the road so far.
- Linz won six out of seven home games.
- Zagreb won the past three games, Linz lost against Bozen lately.
- Zagreb scored only seven goals in powerplay this season, Linz shot 14 goals in numerous advantage.

Conor Cameron, Headcoach Zagreb: “The home win against Znojmo was really important. It was a tough game, which we decided in defense. This is also what we need against Linz.”

- After three consecutive defeats the 99ers won against Znojmo.
- The Bulldogs alternated wins and defeats in the past four games.
- The 99ers scored the most goals in this league, but also received the most goals.
- It’s the duel oft he two fairest teams in the league. The Bulldogs have 8,3 penalty minutes in avergage, the 99ers 9,4.

- Bozen won the first duel with 7:2
- Bozen celebrated a comeback win over Linz recently, Fehervar booked a win in penalty shoot out against the Bulldogs.
- Both teams are in the lower part of the standings and are seperated by four points only.
- Neo-Goalie Matthew Climie proofed his reactions already in the first game. He had a safepercentage of over 92%
- Fehervar had to in overtime for three times this season and won all of them.
