  • Because of the tragic death of goalkeeper Florian Janny the league president Dr. Karl Safron has decided in the name of the League presidency that there should be a minute of silence at all home games of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga on Friday, 11th of October 2019 and Sunday, 13th of October 2019 before the game.
  • The game between EC Red Bull Salzburg and EC Panaceo VSV will be broadcasted live on Sky Sport Austria 1.
  • With Vladimir Pesina and Daniel Hynek two Czech referees will call the game in Linz. Both are part of the referee exchange program, the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga is part of.
  • Three players still have a scoring-streak available: Anthony Luciani, Tomas Svoboda (both ZNO) and John Hughes (RBS).
