Steve Owre is the last top goalscorer in the 25-year history since the league was newly founded. The Canadian led the Pioneers Vorarlberg to the quarter-finals in the 2023/24 season with his goals, where the team from Feldkirch had to admit defeat to the KAC.

In the current season, Brian Lebler leads the scoring charts with 17 goals. With his goals, the 36-year-old has also played a major role in the success of Steinbach Black Wings Linz, who have won eleven of their last twelve games (Lebler recently spoke about the upswing in an interview). The captain of the Upper Austrians has already been top goalscorer in the league three times (14/15, 17/18 and 19/20).

With Andrew Kozek (Linz and Dornbirn), Warren Norris (Graz), Mike Craig (KAC and Vienna) and Ryan Foster (Zell am See), there have also been four players who have won the top goalscorer title twice since the league was newly founded.

The top goalscorer crown has already gone to Vienna eight times. In the 2010-11 season, Francois Fortier scored a total of 51 goals for the spusu Vienna Capitals - the highest league total to date.
