There are more test matches with Alps Hockey League participation on the program this weekend. Among others, league newcomer KHL Sisak will play their first test match. The Croatians will face league rival HK RST Pellet Celje away from home.

League newcomer KHL Sisak will play a total of five test matches before the Croatians first play in the Continental Cup before starting their Alps Hockey League adventure. In the first preparation game, Sisak will face HK RST Pellet Celje away from home on Saturday. It will also be the first preseason game for the Slovenians. Just two days later, Celje will take on another league rival, with SIJ Acroni Jesenice.

Rematch for Zell am See against Rosenheim
The EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel also starts the preseason this weekend. The Tyroleans face the Eisbären Regensburg from DEL2 at home on Friday. With the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers and the EK Die Zeller Eisbären, two more AHL teams will face teams from Germany on Friday. The Cavaliers face Deggendorfer SC in front of their home crowd, while the Polar Bears play at the Starbulls Rosenheim. Zell am See faced the team from Upper Bavaria on Tuesday. They lost at home with 1:7.

Unterland and Cortina test against ICE teams
Unterland will also play a home game against the win2day ICE Hockey League team Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey this weekend. Runner-up S.G. Cortina Hafro will challenge a team from the ICE too, with the HCB Südtirol Alperia. The two teams will meet for the first time in eleven years on Saturday in “Il Derbi del Campioni”.

The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan will be the eighth AHL team to play at least one test match this weekend. The South Tyroleans will face TEV Miesbach from Germany at home on Sunday.
