This weekend some Erste Bank Eishockey Liga teams participate in preseason tournaments. With EC-KAC, HC Bolzano, Fehervar AV19 and Vienna Capitals four clubs face opponents from German DEL.
With some players being down with influenza, EC-KAC lost all three preseason in Slovakia last week. With one exception - forward Johannes Bischofberger - the Carinthians are back at full strength for the Vinschgau-Cup 2018 in Latsch where they face Kölner Haie and ERC Ingolstadt. HC Bolzano is the tournament's fourth team with the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga champion also facing the DEL clubs. There is a live stream of all games at

After suffering an overtime defeat against Villach in their preseason opener, Medvescak Zagreb plays HC Energie Karlovy Vary on Saturday. The Czech side plays VSV today with all teams having their placement games on Sunday.
Capitals and Fehervar play tournaments in Germany
Vienna Capitals continue their preseason with a tournament in Nuremberg. After today's opener against host Thomas Sabo Icetigers, the team of new head coach Dave Cameron faces either Straubing Tigers (DEL) or Czech side BK Mlada Boleslav on Sunday.
After two games against Slovak teams, Fehervar AV19 travels to Dresden for a preseason tournament. The Hungarians meet DEL club Krefeld Pinguine on Saturday and play either host Dresdner Eislöwen (DEL2) or Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven on Sunday.
Dornbirn faces two DEL2 teams
Dornbirn Bulldogs are awaiting two matches against DEL2 sides. Today the team of head coach Dave MacQueen pays Ravensburg a visit and host Bietigheim Steelers on Sunday. Last summer the Bulldogs earned a 4:2 victory in their last meeting.
