After a full round on Saturday there is no time to have a rest. Eight more games are scheduled for Monday and the battle for the top-6-spots is coming to a head. Couple of direct duels of top-6 aspirants are planned: the VEU Feldkirch is battling the SHC Fassa Falcons and the chasing pack of Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan are having a direct duel.

Gherdeina booked the surprise in the past round, defeating the EHC Lustenau. Still Gherdeina is separated by 10 points to the top-6, so they need an extraordinary endspurt of regular season phase 1 to make the top-6. The first duel this season went to Ljubljana, but was decided in overtime.
