Luca Frigo enters his ninth season with Bolzano

HCB Südtirol Alperia has extended the contract with Luca Frigo. The 31-year-old enters his ninth campaign with the Foxes. With 15 goals and 18 assists, the forward recently recorded his best season to date in the win2day ICE Hockey League.

Before joining the win2day ICE Hockey League, Luca Frigo played for his home club Valpellice as well as for the Omaha Lancers in the USA and Kallinge in Sweden. He came to Bolzano at the age of 23 and won the Karl Nedwed Trophy with the Foxes in 2018, where he played an important role. With 15 goals and 18 assists, the forward recently recorded his best season in the league to date. Frigo has also been an integral part of the Italian national team for years, with whom he also took part in the last World Championship and was one of the best Italian players, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
