EHC Lustenau took the lead on the very first power play: Maximilian Wilfan made it 1:0 in the 10th minute. The Vorarlberg side underlined their dominance on PP, scoring for the eighth time - and on only its 15th attempt - in numerical superiority. The Viennese, who played structured, could then equalize through Mark Kompain (18.). But in the middle period the powerplay unit of the "Stickers" struck again, Elias Wallenta (29./PP1) scored and a little later David König (36.) doubled up. EHC goalie Lukas Reihs, who started his second game this year, kept the sheet clean in the further course of the game - and saved 96% of the shots on him. The final point was set by Chris D'Alvise about two and a half minutes left with the third powerplay goal of the evening.
