EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau beat EC-KAC II on Sunday in Alps Hockey League clearly 9:1. Philipp Winzig convinced with a 7-point-game (5G/2A).

EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau started strong into their home-game vs. EC-KAC II! Already after 103 seconds Stefan Hrdina scored the lead in the first Power Play of the game. After some minutes also the guests found better into the game, but the Red Jackets failed to take advantage from some chances. Better did the Vorarlberger, who extended their lead in minute 17 thanks a goal from Philipp Putnik. After the re-start the hosts scored again a quick goal. This time Yan Stastny finished a solo after just 19 seconds – 3:0. Klagenfurt reduced the score thanks a goal from Valentin Hammerle, but the Lions stayed unimpressed and continued to make pressure. In minute 29 Philipp Winzig finished a combination over Stefan Hrdina and Max Wilfan for the 4:1. From this moment on Philipp Winzig was not to stop anymore from the Red Jackets. Still in period 2 the Forward added the 5:1. In the last 20 minutes Lustenau was clearly the chief on the ice. The Lions added another four goals - including three more goals from Winzig - for a clear 9:1-win. Philipp Winzig was clearly the match winner for his team, he had five goals and two Assists.
