Lustenau wins at the EC-KAC Future Team

After the clear 6:2 home win in the first duel of the season, the EHC Lustenau also won 7:3 at the EC-KAC Future Team. It was the Vorarlberg team's tenth win in a row over the Klagenfurt team. The visitors took a 2:0 lead after just 200 seconds. The EHC led 3:0 after the first period, with Max Wilfan scoring a brace. The Future Team also got on the scoreboard in the middle period. Marco Kramer reduced the deficit to 1:3, but after 40 minutes the team from Lustenau was still comfortably 5:2 ahead. In the final period, the team at the bottom of the table reduced the deficit to 3:5 after just 17 seconds, but Mikael Johansson restored the three-goal lead eight minutes before the end of the game. It was the Swede's second goal of the evening. EHC top scorer Jesper Öhrvall scored the final goal four and a half minutes before the end in a double powerplay situation. Klagenfurt thus suffered their 14th defeat in a row and have been waiting for a point since October 7.
