The EHC Lustenau achieved the eighth AHL home win in a row. Against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors the Vorarlberg team won with 3:2-OT. HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana remains unbeaten in the tenth game of the season. The second Slovenian representative, HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice was successful at EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and celebrated the eighth victory in a row. The VEU Feldkirch and the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it won after overtime too. In the other games, the SHC Fassa Falcons, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and the EC Bregenzerwald celebrated victories.

Lustenau celebrates OT victory over Juniors
The EHC Lustenau celebrated a 3:2 overtime victory over the Red Bull Hockey Juniors. For the Young Bulls it was the first deafeat after four victories in a row. Lustenau continued his impressive home series. It was the EHC's eighth home win in the AHL in a row. The last time the Vorarlberg team lost a home game was on February 27th. After goalless first 20 minutes, the Juniors took the lead in minute 33. At the beginning of the final period Lustenau managed to equalize for the first time, before the Salzburg team took the lead again just over four minutes later. Chris D'Alvise finally scored the 2:2 with six minutes to go, after assists by Renars Karkls and Oscar Bejmo, and in extra time it took three minutes before Sweden's Bejmo scored the Game Winning Goal, after an assist by Chris D'Alvise.

Ljubljana remains undefeated
The HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana remains unbeaten in the tenth game of the season. At the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan the 2019 AHL champion won with 3:1. For the Broncos it was the fifth defeat in a row. Already in the fourth minute of the game the guests took the lead, the remaining goals were all scored in the final period. The final decision was made only one and a half minutes before the end of the game by Jure Sotlar. In the standings, the Slovenians are now only two points behind the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, although they have played five games less.

Jesenice celebrates away win at Kitzbühel
With the HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice the second Slovenian team of the Alps Hockey League also celebrated an away victory. The third placed team won with 4:2 at EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. For Jesenice it was the eighth victory in a row. Kitzbühel suffered their third defeat of the past five games. After 31 minutes, Kitzbühel led with 2:1 before the guests could turn the match around. Kitzbühel is in eighth place in the table.

Val Gardena with victory at Cortina
The HC Gherdeina valgardena.it won with 4:3 after shootout at S.G. Cortina Hafro. It was the first victory for Val Gardena after two defeats in a row. GHE is now seventh in the table, Cortina is eleventh with three points less. It was already the fourth duel this season. Each team could win two games. Val Gardena was the better team for most of the match, but could not win after regular playing time. The guests led with 1:0, 2:1 and 3.2. In overtime it was Matt Wilkins who scored the game winning goal after four minutes and 30 seconds.

Fassa with a narrow victory over Pustertal
The SHC Fassa Falcons won with 2:1 at the HC Pustertal Wölfe. For Fassa it was only the second victory over Pustertal in the twelfth AHL duel. It was also the last home game over PUS, at the beginning of the year, that FAS could win. In the first duel of the season, the Wolves could celebrate a narrow 4:3 home victory over the Falcons, after they had already a 0:2 deficit. In this game FAS was able to turn a deficit. After Leonhard Hasler gave the guests a 1:0 lead in the ninth minute of the game, Fassa turned the game around by goals from Mans Hermansson and Joseph Mizzi.

Feldkirch with problems against-KAC II
Despite a 5:2 lead the VEU Feldkirch had to go into extra time against the EC-KAC II. In this Steven Birnstill scored the decisive goal after three minutes and twelve seconds. In the regular playing time the guests from Klagenfurt took a 1:0 lead, but then the VEU could move away to 3:1 and 5:2. The top scorer of the league Jakob Stukel (VEU) scored twice. The victory puts Feldkirch in fourth place in the table. For the KA2 it was the sixth defeat in a row. Already tomorrow, Sunday, the Carinthians will meet the next Vorarlberg club, the EC Bregenzerwald. The game starts at 17:30.

Asiago without any problems against Ritten
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey had no problems in the 4:1 away win at the Rittner Buam. Already after the first period the guests were leading with 2:0 and in the middle period Asiago scored another goal. The hosts' only goal was about two minutes before the end of the game. The man of the match was Steven McParland, who scored twice and thus also scored in the tenth game this season. It was Asiago's twelfth win over the "Buam" in the 27th AHL duel. In the standings, RIT is in 15th place, ASH in ninth place.

Shutout of Bregenzerwald against Steel Wings
In the EC Bregenzerwald's clear 7:0 home victory over the Steel Wings Linz, Daniel Ban and Roberts Lipsbergs were the men of the match. Both players scored twice. Especially since the Latvian Lipsbergs is engaged in the Ländle, things are running smoothly for the ECB. They have already scored seven points since the KHL experienced striker joined the team. It was the ECB's third win in the last five games, while the Steel Wings Linz suffered their fourth defeat in a row. For the EC Bregenzerwald, the AHL continues tomorrow, Sunday. at 17:30. The ECB will meet the EC-KAC II at home, who lost today with 5:6 after overtime at the VEU Feldkirch.
