EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau has won the Vorarlberg-derby at EC Bregenzerwald 4:1 on Wednesday. Goalie Mathieu Corbeil with 61 saves and Captain Max Wilfan, who has netted three goals, have been the match winners for the Lions.

EC Bregenzerwald searched their luck in the offense (62 shots) in the Vorarlberg-derby, but Lustenau‘s-goalie Mathieu Corbeil allowed no goal in the first 40 minutes. On the other side, EHC-Captain Max Wilfan gave the guests a 1:0-lead in minute 32. The "Lions" took two penalties in the following minutes (34., 40.), but, the „Wälder“ could not score on Power Play too. This was punished by the guests from Lustenau: Wilfan added his second goal in minute 48 and Christopher D’Alvise netted the 3:0 in the first Power Play for his team just 238 seconds later. In the end, the EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau won at EC Bregenzerwald 4:1 with Max Wilfan scoring his third goal into the empty net in the final seconds of the game.
