The Steinbach Steel Wings Linz announced the signing of Canadian Marc-André Dorion. The 35-year-old already played numerous seasons with the Steinbach Black Wings Linz in the win2day ICE Hockey League. At the Rittner Buam and the HC Meran/o Pircher the last new additions for the coming season were announced. With the EC-KAC Future Team, Hockey Unterland, EC Bregenzerwald, SHC Fassa Falcons, HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, HC Meran/o Pircher and the Hockey Club Gherdeina valgardena.it seven more clubs of the Alps Hockey League were active on the transfer market in the past week.

Dorion is back in Linz
After one season with the Dragons de Rouen in France, defender Marc-André Dorion is back in Linz and will play for the Steinbach Steel Wings Linz in the coming season. The 35-year-old Canadian already played with the Steinbach Black Wings Linz in the win2day ICE Hockey League between 2012 and 2018 and in the season 2020/21.

Squad of Ritten is complete
Derek Gentile and Jake Cardwell are the last additions to the squad of the Rittner Buam. Gentile will play in Europe for the first time. Last season the 23-year-old forward played with the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL, scoring 32 points in 40 games. Before that he was active in the USports. Cardwell was last active with HC Banska Bystrica. In two and a half seasons with the Slovakians the 30-year-old scored 50 points.

Witting, Sunitsch and Brodnik stay in Klagenfurt
At the EC KAC Future Team the contracts with Marcel Witting, Marco Sunitsch and Nal Brodnik were extended. Furthermore Luka Gomboc returns to the Carinthians, after spending one year with the Drummondville Voltigeurs in Canada. In addition, the Swede William Persson joins the team, who wants to recommend himself for a place in the red-white AHL squad during a one-month try-out.

Contract extension at Hockey Unterland
24-year-old Ruben Zerbetto will stay with Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. It will be the first full Alps Hockey League season for the forward. In the season 2016/17 he already played eight games with Neumarkt/Egna.

6th season for Hyyppä with Bregenzerwald
Panu Hyyppä stays with the EC Bregenzerwald. For the 35-year-old Finn it will already be his sixth consecutive season with the Vorarlberg team. So far the defender made 171 AHL appearances, scoring 52 points. Besides Hyyppä also Julius Nyqvist extended his contract in Vorarlberg.

Contract extensions and new signings in Fassa
At the SHC Fassa Falcons two new signings and four contract extensions were announced. Canadian defender Cody Sol and Italian forward Edgar De Toni joined the club. The contracts were extended with defenders Michele Forte and Dennis Kustatscher as well as with forwards Andrea Ploner and Sebastiano Rossi.

New goalie and forward for Jesenice
With goalkeeper Antti Karjalainen and forward Martin Bohinc the HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice signed two new players. The 26-year-old Finn Karjalainen was last active in Sweden. 22-year-old Bohinc last played with HD Jesenice Mladi. In addition, goalkeeper Urban Avseni has extended his contract with the Slovenians.

Meran/o announces last additions
The squad of the HC Meran/o Pircher is complete. The last two new signings of the Italians are forwards Dylan Ghiglione and David Trivellato.

Two contract extensions in Gherdeina
Both Christian Willeit and Michael Sullmann stay with the Hockey Club Gherdeina valgardena.it and will play their fifth season with the South Tyroleans. Forward Sullmann already scored 164 points for the „Furie“ so far.
