The Alps Hockey League has introduced an exciting new feature this season: each month, a Young Star of the Month is selected. During the Playoffs, all monthly winners will compete in the grand finale for the title of the Young Star of the Season. All players born in 2005 or later are eligible for the award. In the first voting– consisting of fan voting and an evaluation by the league organization – Maxim Eliseev of the Red Bull Hockey Juniors was chosen as the Young Star for September/October. Both months were combined into one voting period since only a few games were played in September.
