The 30-year-old scored three goals and two assists in his ICE appearances for Graz in the past season. Before that, Latta gained a lot of experience in the NHL (117 games) and AHL (320). Prior to his first stay in Graz, he played one season each in the KHL and SHL. He started the current season in the Czech Republic with HC Litvinov (1G|5A).

"I'm really looking forward to coming back to Graz, experiencing this beautiful city and getting up close with the guys again. I want to boost the team for reaching playoffs," said Michael Latta, who is expected to arrive in Graz on Wednesday evening. He is supposed to make his comeback as early as this weekend. Latta played his last game more than two months ago, at the end of November.
