More than 14,000 fans attended quarter-final 1 in arenas

14,191 people flocked to the arenas for the quarter-final opener of the win2day ICE Hockey League. Two of the four venues were even sold out. For the 16th time this season, the EC-KAC had no place left.

win2day ICE Hockey recorded an impressive influx of spectators at the start of the quarter-final series. On average, more than 3,500 per match did not miss the start of the playoffs. With EC-KAC (4,395) and Hydro Fehérvár AV19 (2,889), two of the four arenas were completely sold out. Only a few seats remained empty for the TV clash between EC Red Bull Salzburg (3,087) and Steinbach Black Wings Linz. A respectable 3,820 spectators made the pilgrimage to HCB Südtirol Alperia, which has the largest capacity with more than 6,800 places. This meant that over 80% of the hall's capacity was used on Sunday.
