Fehervar AV19 signed young Hungarian Forward Zsombor Kiss, who returns after five years in Switzerland to his home-country. Champion UPC Vienna Capitals extended the contract with Canadian Forward MacGregor Sharp and EC-KAC signed the Forwards Jon Rheault (USA) and Julian Talbot (CAN).

Fehervar AV19 signed young forward Zsombor Kiss. The Hungarian switched already at the age of 15teen to Switzerland, where he spend the last five seasons: First the Center played three seasons for the youth teams of SC Bern and lately two years for the U20 team of HC Davos. Kiss, who is also Assistant Captain of the Hungrian U20 National team, finished the 2017 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship Division 1/B tournament with five points. (1 goal + 4 assists). The young forward was happy to get the opportunity and is looking forward to the challange: „I am happy to be able to play in front of a home crowd for my first professional season. I like the future prospects Viktor Szelig described to be, I’ll try and meet the expectations.”
 
Sharp stays at Vienna
With Forward MacGregor Sharp a key-player stays another season at Champion UPC Vienna Capitals: 2016/17 the Canadian scored for the Capitals 48 points (25G/23A) from 64 Erste Bank Eishockey League-games.
 
Two new Forwards at Klagenfurt
EC-KAC signed US-Forward Jon Rheault, who spend the last season with EHC Visp in Swiss NLB. For the Swiss club the strong Forward made last season 37 points from 29 games. Before the US-American played in Europe already three years in Mannheim and scored for the „Eagles“ 92 points from 161 DEL-games. Highlight was the title 2015. Besides Rheault made already 282 AHL-games and 2012/13 even five NHL-games for the Florida Panthers.
New at Klagenfurt is also Julian Talbot. The Canadian spend the last six years with the Eisbären Berlin in the DEL. For the Germans the Forward scored 205 points (80G/125A) from 337 games. Highlight were the titles 2012 and 2013.
