Fehérvár reacts to injuries
Due to the loss of both goalkeepers, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 has strengthened its team with Jaroslav Janus. Last the goalie played in the Czech Republic signed a contract with the Hungarian bet-at-home ICE Hockey League representative for one month.

In order to "give their goalkeepers Mike Ouzas and Daniel Kornakker the time they need for a comeback", Hydro Fehérvár AV19 has hired the former Slovakian national team goalie Jaroslav Janus. The 31-year-old from Presnov was the goalkeeper of HC Slovan Bratislava between 2012 and 2014, completed 113 appearances in the KHL during this time and achieved a save percentage of 91%. At the end of the 04/05 season he strengthened HC Sparta Prague before he continued to play in the Czech Republic (Liberec and Litvinov) until this summer. Until 2019 Janus was also part of the Slovakian national team. In 2012 he won the Calder Cup with the Norfolk Admirals.

"For my new team and me, there are a lot of games coming up in the next days. I will try to give my team the chance to win these games - and of course to stop as many shots as possible", so Jaroslav Janus.

Matt Finn defends for Bratislava
iClinic Bratislava Capitals has strengthened its defensive with Matt Finn. The 26-year-old Canadian played 42 games for the Steinbach Black Wings 1992 in the past season, and Jacob Christiansen left the Slovakian team without having played one single game in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

The season in Linz was Finn's first in Europe. The defender scored seven goals and dished 16 assists for the Upper Austrians. Before that he was mostly in the ECHL and the AHL. In 2012 he was drafted into the NHL in 35th place by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
