Champion HCB Südtirol Alperia has presented Canadian Leland Irving as their goalie for the upcoming season. The 30-year old netminder played for the San Diego Gulls in the American Hockey League lately, earning a save% of 90,9 and a GAA of 3.47 out of six games. Irving played 243 games in the AHL in total. Besides, Irving has NHL experience too. The Canadian played 13 matches for the Calgary Flames between 2011 and 2013. In Europe, he has already guarded successfully the net for Jokerit Helsinki (2013/14) and KooKoo (2016/17) in the finnish top-Liiga and for Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the KHL 2014/15.
 
HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ have signed Canadian forward Levko Koper. The 27-year old forward started his europe-career with the Straubing Tigers in the DEL past season, scoring twelve points (4G/8A) out of 45 games. Koper has won a WHL-title with the Spokane Chiefs 2008. After five years at the University of Alberta scoring on average one point per game, Koper went for goals and points in the ECHL and in the AHL between 2015 and 2017.
