While the Rittner Buam tabbed American defender Ryan Obuchowski, the Steel Wings Linz announced the signing of young Austrian Leon Kleiss.

Ryan Obuchowski moves to Ritten
With Ryan Obuchowski the Rittner Buam hired another player of ECHL club Toledo Walleye. The defender won the NCAA championship with Yale back in 2012/13. Overall, he played 134 games for Yale posting 52 points. Later he moved to the ECHL team Missouri Mavericks for one season, before he was transferred to the Toledo Walleye. During his ECHL campaign he collected 76 points (15G | 61A). With Obuchowski Ritten completed its defensive squad and is now looking for a center for the upcoming Alps Hockey League season. 

Young talent for Linz
The new member of Alps Hockey League, the Steel Wings Linz, hired 19-year-old Austrian Leon Kleiss. He played 26 Erste Bank Young Stars League (U20) games for Villach and Linz with earning 11 goals and 18 assists.
