From North Europe to Vorarlberg
Swedish-Austrian Power for EC Bregenzerwald! Henrik Neubauer will help the "Wälder" in the upcoming season to reach their aims in the Alps Hockey League. Besides the Youngsters will also play for the Dornbirn Bulldogs in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga! For the 20 y/o Forward it is his first season outside from Sweden, where he spend the last five seasons mainly with Färjestad BK.
New at EC Bregenzerwald is also Panu Hyyppä. The defenseman is after goalie Misa Pietilä and Forward Juuso Mörsky the third player from Finland, who joins the „Wälder“ for the 2017/18-season. The 30 years old, strong defenseman played the last five years for KeuPa HT, 2016/17 he scored for the team seven points (2G/5A) from 29 games in Fins second highest League (Mestis). Dornbirn will be now his second station away from home, 2012/13 Panu Hyyppä defended already one year for Caen in France.
 
EK Zeller Eisbären added Youngster to their roster
Youngster Patrick Gaffal joins EK Zeller Eisbären. The 22 years old Power-Forward played lately 2,5 years for KSV Eishockey. For Kapfenberg he scored last season 33 points (5G/28A) from 25 games on Austrias fourth highest hockey-level.
 
Two new arrivals at Jesenice, defenseman stays
Mark Vlahovic will be one of the goalies of HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice in the upcoming season. The Slovenian U20 National Team keeper returns after several years playing in the youth teams of EC Red Bull Salzburg (EBJL Champion 2015!) and lately one season overseas for the Southern Oregon Spartans in the WSHL, where he had a strong save% of 92,1 and a GAA of 2,6 from 33 games, to his home-country Slovenia.
The club brings also Luka Basic back to Slovenia! The Forward played the last six seasons abroad in France, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and lately one season in England at Bracknell. For the "Bees" the 27 years old Slovenian scored 2016/17 51 points (22G/29A) from 50 EPIHL-games.
Besides Luka Kraigher will defend also 2017/18 for Jesenice. Last season the 21 years old, strong defenseman won with his home-club his first Slovenian title and scored for the team before two points (1G/1A) from 25 Alps Hockey League-games.
 
Neumarkt presents defense lines
HC Neumarkt RIWEGA presented their defense for 2017/18! Daniel Morandell, who had a save% of 90,2 and a GAA of 3,19 from 30 games past season, stays number 1 goalie at Neumarkt. Back-up will be Samuel Donini or Kristian Budinsky. New defenseman in the Italian city is Tobias Brighenti. The 20 years old Italian returns after two seasons and 23 points from totally 89 games for Sportivi Ghiaccio Cotina Hafro  to the wildgeese. Besides the Italian club extended the contract with the defensemen Alexander Sullmann, Christian Willeit, Ondrej Nedved, Kevin Zucal, Tobias Steiner and Hannes Oberrauch.
