Before his time at Kristianstad IK, the 25-year-old was under contract with Väsby IK and AIK. In addition, the newcomer of the Graz99ers gained experience in the American Hockey League (Iowa Wild) and ECHL (Rapid City Rush). In 2015, Bouramman was drafted in the 7th round by the Minnesota Wild, but did not make any NHL appearances.

Statement Gustav Bouramman: "I heard only good things about the city and the club. When head coach Pennerborn called me and told me that they wanted to sign me, I was very happy. It's an opportunity for me to play in a great organization. I would describe myself as an offensive defender, with a good pass and good skating. But I always try to do my defensive part as well. My goal is to perform well in Graz and win something together with the team. And the goal should always be to win the championship."
