New defenseman for Fehervar AV19

Fehervar AV19 signed Fin Juha Uotila, who played last season for JYP, for their defense. Topscorer Corey Locke (CAN) switched within the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga from EC VSV to Linz. Champion UPC Vienna Capitals extended the contract with Forward Andreas Nödl.

For the first time since 2010/11 (goalie Tommi Satosaari) in the upcoming season with Juha Uotila a Fin will play for Fehervar AV19 again. The 32 years old Fin defended  during the last eight years for different teams in Sweden and Finland. 2016/17 the defenseman, who is known as an excellent skater and as a good passer played for JYP. For the club from Jyväskylä he made past season 32 games, scoring two Assists. Besides Uotila participated with JYP in the Champions Hockey League. "I am what the call a allround defenceman, I am a good skater with capability of moving the puck but main focus of my game is going to be on the defensive side and joining the rush after i have done my job in the defensive zone. I also like to play a physical game. Looking at the rosters I noticed there is some high quality players in Erste Bank Eishockey League so i think its going to be skilled hockey. i hope to enjoy hockey and please the fans with my hockey.”, reported Uotila.
 
EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz has their roster for 2017/18 complete! The Upper Austrians signed Erste Bank Eishockey Liga's 2016/17 Topscorer Corey Locke. The Canadian Center scored for EC VSV past season 77 points from 52 games. Besides the Black Wings added young goalie Paul Mocher, who played lately for the youth team of EC Red Bull Salzburg, to their roster.
 
Champion UPC Vienna Capitals extended the contract with Austrian Forward Andreas Nödl, who scored last season 36 points (14G/22A, Plus-Minus: +23) from 66 games for the Caps.
