Mattias Göransson signed a one-year contract with KAC. The Swedish defenseman developed his game both in his home country with Brynäs IF and in the United States with the Tri-City Storm, before continuing his career at the college level with the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

In the summer of 2019, the now 31-year-old returned to Sweden, where he has since played continuously in the SHL. Canadian defensive duo for the Pioneers
The Pioneers Vorarlberg have strengthened their defense with a Canadian duo: Brycen Martin and Anthony Costantini bring different profiles that are expected to complement each other well. While Martin arrives as a experienced two-way defenseman with leadership qualities, Costantini adds a young, dynamic presence with pace, hockey sense, and development potential.

Brycen Martin is an experienced defenseman from Calgary. The 30-year-old left shot was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft and brings extensive experience from North American professional hockey. The 188 cm tall defenseman is considered a modern two-way blueliner, known for his vision, composure with the puck, and strong positional play. Last season, Martin played for the Aalborg Pirates in Denmark, where he impressed offensively with 31 points in 51 games including playoffs.

Anthony Costantini is a 23-year-old right-shot defenseman from Hamilton, Ontario. The mobile blueliner developed in the OHL and has accumulated consistent professional experience in North America in recent years. He is known for his hockey sense, clean first pass, and controlled but aggressive playing style, and is expected to add stability and pace to the Pioneers’ defense.

Milano signs US defenseman Wyatte Wylie
