Sjöquist signs on in Sterzing
Johan Sjöquist is the new head coach of the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. For the 47-year-old Swede, Vipiteno is the second club in the Alps Hockey League. In the 2019/20 season, Sjöquist was head coach at the Vienna Capitals Silver.

Tuomie new head coach at Ritten
The Rittner Buam SkyAlps have named Tray Tuomie as their new head coach for the upcoming AHL season. The 55-year-old previously worked mainly in Germany. In addition, Ritten has announced the signings of goaltender Colin Furlong and defenseman Cameron Ginnetti. While the 25-year-old Ginnetti last played with the HCB Südtirol Alperia in the win2day ICE Hockey League Furlong came from league rival Gherdeina to Klobenstein.

Hintermann moves to EC Bregenzerwald
The EC Bregenzerwald signed Daniel Hintermann. The defender went through the junior teams of the EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV, for whom he also played one game in the Champions Hockey League. The 21-year-old was loaned to EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in the last two years and played 61 AHL games (seven assists). In addition, the Vorarlberg team signed two young defensemen from Estonia, Daniil Kulintsev, 20, and Robert Ossipov, 19, both of whom played for Finnish youth teams last season.

Dellagiacoma stays in Merano
Fabian Dellagiacoma signed a contract extension and enters his third season with the HC Meran/o Pircher. In 66 Alps Hockey League games so far, the 20-year-old defenseman has scored seven assists.

Ebner stays in Kitzbühel
Defenseman Mario Ebner will play his seventh full season with the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. The 27-year-old has recorded 82 points in 264 AHL games for the Tyroleans so far.

League newcomer Celje signs Jakob Pečnik
HK RST-Pellet CELJE announced the signing of Jakob Pečnik. The 19-year-old forward played 21 games for HK SZ Olimpija in the win2day ICE Hockey League last season. In addition, the Slovenians extended the contract with defenseman Nik Grahut.
