Three days before starting into the qualification-round on Tuesday, the EC Panaceo VSV signed Johan Eriksson. The 25-year old Swedish forward will play for the first time outside of his home country. He appeared for Modo Hockey in Swedish second division in the past two seasons, having 35 points out of 88 games in total. “He has a big talent on the offensive end, and he knows how to score. I am positive, he will fit to our team”, said head coach Gerhard Unterlugger.

Meanwhile, the EC-KAC renewed the contract of Johannes Bischofberger until the end of the season 2019/20. To date, Bischofberger contested in 141 Erste Bank Eishockey Liga games for the Carinthians scoring 79 points in total (38 goals, 41 assists). “It is great having another and now my fourth season here in Klagenfurt, a city me and my girlfriend feel very comfortable.
