New signings at Jesenice and Zell am See

With defenceman Laurin Müller and forward Bastian Szieber, EK Zeller Eisbären signed two new players for the 2022/23 season in the Alps Hockey League. While Žan Jezovšek returned to HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, the club extended the contract with captain Gašper Glavič. In addition, Patrick Tomasini remains with HC Merano.

EK Zeller Eisbären strengthened both their defence and offence. The Salzburg team signed Laurin Müller, who has already played 79 AHL games for EC Bregenzerwald, VEU Feldkirch and Steel Wings Linz. Last season, the 24-year-old defender also played 16 games for the Steinbach Black Wings Linz in the win2day ICE Hockey League. In addition, Bastian Szieber moves to Zell am See. The 20-year-old forward was active in the academy of EC Red Bull Salzburg in the last years.

Two important signings for Jesenice
After a season with HK SZ Olimpija in the win2day ICE Hockey League, Žan Jezovšek returned to HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. The 25-year-old winger has already played 232 AHL games for Jesenice and Ljubljana, recording 192 points. Jesenice also extended the contract with Gašper Glavič for two more years. The 25-year-old captained his team to the AHL finals for the first time last season. In total, the winger has already played 376 games for the club.

Tomasini extends contract with HCM
Patrick Tomasini has extended his contract in Merano. The 21-year-old forward moved to HCM last season from league rival Hockey Club Gherdeina. In his first campaign in the eagles jersey, Tomasini scored eleven goals and had five assists.
