Olimpija Ljubljana announced the signing of Clayton Kirichenko. In the 2023-24 season, the Canadian played for the Pioneers Vorarlberg, where he became the best defenceman in terms of points in the regular season. Clayton Kirichenko returns to the win2day ICE Hockey League, the Canadian signed a contract with Olimpija Ljubljana. In the 2023-24 season, Kirichenko played for the Pioneers Vorarlberg, where he became the best defenceman in the regular season with ten goals and 31 assists. Last campaign, the 29-year-old played in the DEL and the Slovakian league.

Graz signs US-American forward
The Moser Medical Graz99ers have signed US-American forward Nick Swaney. The 27-year-old, who played an NHL game for Minnesota alongside Marco Rossi, is coming to Europe for the first time. In his last five AHL seasons, the winger recorded 93 points in 175 games. After four years in the Wild organisation, he was most recently assistant captain of the Chicago Wolves, also an NHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes.

Top scorer Schneider stays in Salzburg
After winning four championships in the last four years, Peter Schneider is entering his fifth season with EC Red Bull Salzburg. The 34-year-old finished last campaign as the top scorer in the win2day ICE Hockey League and recorded the most points of all players in the playoffs. As assistant captain, the two-time league MVP also has a key role as a leader.

HC TIWAG Innsbruck has also extended the contract of Devin Steffler. The 24-year-old will thus continue to strengthen the Sharks' defence next season.
