The Rittner Buam announced the commitment of the Canadian Randy Gazzola. The defender last played at Toledo Walley in the ECHL. The Slovenians HDD Jesenice presented Mitja Sivic as new head coach. A new signing was also announced by HC Fassa Falcons. Goalkeepeer Eduard Zakharchenko joins the club. Additionally Hafro Cortina Hockey announced the contract extension with Mathieu Ayotte.

Canadian Randy Gazzola joins the Rittner Buam. The 25-year-old last played at Toledo Walley in the ECHL. In 31 games the defender scored two goals and made eleven assists. Prior to that, he spent five years in the Canadian high school league, USports, at the University of New Brunswick. In 175 competitive games Gazzola scored 135 points (21 goals, 114 assists). In 2014 he was even voted "Rookie of the Year".

New head coach for Jesenice
Mitja Sivic will be head coach of HDD Jesenice from the upcoming season. Jesenice is the first coaching station in Slovenia for the 39-year-old. Most recently he spent four years as manager of Lyon in France. In his playing career Sivic was most active for Olimpija Ljubljana. But also in France for Grenoble and Briancon the former striker played a couple of years. Besides the commitment of the new manager, Jesenice also announced the contract extension of Andrej Tavzelj. The defender will play his third season for the Slovenians.

New goalkeeper for Fassa
HC Fassa Falcons signed goalie Eduard Zakharchenko. The 23-year-old, who also has a Russian passport, took part in three World Championships with Ukraine. Last season he played for Kazakh side HK Astana and Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák in Hungary, where he had a save percentage of 90.9 percent. 

Ayotte stays in Cortina
Hafro Cortina Hockey has extended the contract with Mathieu Ayotte. The 23-year-old has been part of the Italian since last season. In 41 games the Center scored 14 goals. Prior to his time in Cortina the Canadian played in his home country for several clubs.
