The EC GRAND Immo VSV (Marco Richter), the iClinic Bratislava Capitals (Dávid Bondra) and the HC Orli Znojmo (Filip Haman) announced new signings. At the EC-KAC the contracts with Thomas Vallant and Kele Steffler were extended.

Villach signs Marco Richter
Marco Richter leaves the spusu Vienna Capitals after only one season and will play for the EC GRAND Immo VSV in the coming two seasons. In 58 games for the Capitals, the forward scored 23 points (12G / 11A). Before his time in Vienna, the 25-years-old was active for the EC-KAC for four years.

Between 2014 and 2016, Marco Richter also spent two years in the USA with the Madison Capitols and the University of Connecticut. In 2016, the native of Vienna joined the EC-KAC. With the "Rotjacken", the forward celebrated the championship in 2019. For the past season, Richter returned to his native Vienna. With the spusu Vienna Capitals, the left-shooter reached the semifinals. Now the 20-time Austrian international transfers to Villach. Richter signed a two-year contract with the "Eagles".

Bratislava signs Dávid Bondra
The 28-years-old Slovak Dávid Bondra will play for the iClinic Bratislava Capitals in the upcoming season. Most recently, the 2018 and 2019 World Cup participant played with the HC Kometa Brno in the Czech Republic. Before that, the forward played for the Chinese side Kunlun Red Star in the KHL.

Bondra started his hockey career in his native country, the USA. Between 2005 and 2016, the now 28-years-old played for various junior teams and the Michigan State Univ. The attacker then moved to Slovakia, where he played for the HK Poprad for three years. In 2018 and 2019, Bondra was also named to Slovakia's World Cup squad. After that, the left-shoother moved to China, to the Kunlun Red Stars. He played a total of 33 games for the team from Beijing in the KHL. Last season, the son of Slovak hockey legend Peter Bondra was mainly active for the HC Kometa Brno. He scored seven points in 39 appearances.

Znojmo signs Filip Haman
The HC Orli Znojmo announced the signing of Filip Haman. The 22-years-old Czech will not play in a domestic league for the first time in the upcoming season. Most recently, the defender played for HC Frýdek-Místek in the second league. Haman made a total of 150 appearances for HC Frýdek-Místek. The now 22-years-old defender was also part of the squad of all Czech youth national teams in the past.

EC-KAC extends with Vallant and Steffler
The EC-KAC has signed defensemen Thomas Vallant (25) and Kele Steffler (22) for another season. Together, both players have made 280 appearances in the jersey of the "Rotjacken" so far.
