Graham McPhee, pcicked at 149th place in the 2016 NHL draft pick by the Edmonton Oilers, is already in Vienna and is preparing for the start of the season together with the team. "Nobody knows exactly when the leagues in North America will start again. Therefore I am very happy about the opportunity to get into "game shape" in Vienna. There are some North Americans in the team. This of course makes the acclimatization phase easier. Now it's time to get my legs going again. Of course I will give everything and try to help the team", says the forward.

McPhee, whose next career step is to play in the American Hockey League, will stay in Vienna until at least mid-November. "I will certainly benefit from the experience of playing on a larger ice rink now, also in terms of fitness. I'm looking forward to the coming weeks and months," said McPhee, who won the 2016 World Championship bronze medal with the US U18 national team.

McPhee will wear the number "21" at the spusu Vienna Capitals and is already fully integrated into the training operation. It will be decided at short notice whether the forward will already be in the lineup of caps at the Red Bulls Salute 2020 in Kitzbühel next weekend.
