No less than 121 NHL appearances for Nashville and Montreal are on the resume of the 183-centimeter, 98-kilogram Victor Bartley. In 2014/15, the defender had the chance to dream of a big coup, making four appearances with the Predators and getting a taste of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

In addition to his performances against Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin and Co., Bartley also made a name for himself in numerous other top leagues as a sheriff on defense. After five seasons in the American Hockey League and one year with Örebro in the Swedish SHL, he moved to the KHL, where Bartley most recently spent three seasons with the Kulun Red Star.

The major highlight of his career so far, however, was celebrated by the Canadian with Chinese roots on the international stage. In 2018, Bartley won the title at the traditional Spengler Cup with Team Canada. In four appearances, the defender recorded one goal and one assist.

Victor Bartley: "The entire organization has been very concerned about me from the beginning. The talks with the people in charge quickly gave me a good feeling. I will give my best and try to help the team as much as I can through hard and honest work."
