Mark Barberio can look back on an impressive career: almost 300 NHL games, over 200 appearances in the KHL, a Calder Cup victory in the AHL and participation in the 2022 Winter Olympics with Team Canada. In the past two years, he was under contract with Severstal Cherepovets in the KHL. He is now continuing his career in Bolzano.

“The opportunity to live and play hockey in Italy is something very special,” says Barberio. "Bolzano is a club with a great tradition and a rich history. I know the ambitions of the club and its fans and I promise to give my all to achieve the common goal - winning the cup. I'm looking forward to arriving in Bolzano, getting to know my new teammates and getting started. See you soon!"
