In 49 games for the HC TIWAG Innsbruck, Nick Albano scored eleven goals and 23 assists. Previously, the US-American played exclusively in North America and for half a season in Sweden.

Nick Albano: "A lot is happening in Graz right now. New president, new sports director, new coach and a new team. I'm delighted to be here. With the team we'll have available in Graz, I see no reason why we shouldn't be successful. That certainly includes reaching the playoffs."

99ers sports director Philipp Pinter: "We are very happy that we were able to bring Nick to Graz and convince him of our vision and his role in the team. He's a very good defenseman in terms of play and skating and is still a long way from reaching his personal peak. His path to professional hockey was not easy, which shows all the more how hard he works on his game. A complete professional who is not only an ideal fit for us in terms of his play, but also his character. We need guys like that."
