Nicolai Meyer is back in Salzburg

Last season, Nicolai Meyer scored the championship-winning goal for the EC Red Bull Salzburg, after that the Dane moved to IF Björklöven in Sweden. Now the 30-year-old is back with the Red Bulls and will strengthen the third-placed team in the final period of the season.

The striker already played in Salzburg last season and helped the Red Bulls to their eighth championship title with his goal in the 2:1 victory in the decisive final in Bolzano. Before that, the Dane played a season with the spusu Vienna Capitals in the win2day ICE Hockey League and also represented his country at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing (1G | 1A). With IF Björklöven from the HockeyAllsvenskan, Meyer has scored twelve goals and 15 assists in 43 games this season.
