Nine games are on the schedule in the Alps Hockey League this weekend. Besides, Hockey Milano Rossoblu has split ways with US-Headcoach Drew Omicioli and Assistant Coach Tanner Burton. The team will be coached by Andrea De Zordo in the next games.

Sat, 17.11.2018: EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau vs. HK SZ Olimpija (17:30)
Referees: DURCHNER, LENDL, Reisinger, Riecken.
EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau and HK SZ Olimpija will meet each other in a persecutor-clash in Lustenau on Saturday: The Vorarlberger have earned 31 points (ten wins) out of 15 games so far and are ranked on place 2, while the Slovenes got 30 points (ten victories) out of 15 matches so far and are ranked on place 4. But, each team could not convince lately: The West-Austrians have been defeated in two straight games, allowing eleven goals. On the other hand, the „green dragons“ haven’t even got a single point in November so far, Ales Music and Company have even been defeated in three consecutive games. But watch out: The team from Ljubljana has been successful in both meetings with the „Lions“ so far.

EC Bregenzerwald is looking forward to a difficult trip to Jesenice on Saturday. The Slovenes have been on fire so far, Miha Brus and Co. have netted most goals (67) and have earned two big wins in Zell am See (12:2) and Lustenau (5:3) lately too. Besides, the „Red Steelers“ have won all four clashes with EC Bregenzerwald as well. On the other hand, the Austrians will try to end their bad run in Jesenice: The „Wälder“ have lost six straight games and have won just one out of eight road-games.

EK Die Zeller Eisbären have returned on the winning-street under the lead of new Head Coach Greg Holst in Fassa on Thursday. The Polar Bears have been convincing in Power Play situation, netting all goals in Power Play. The team from Pinzgau will continue their road-trip in Milano on Saturday. The Italians had a difficult first year in the Alps Hockey League so far too. The Red & Blues have earned just eight points (two wins) out of 14 games and are ranked on place 15. EKZ is ranked on place 13. Lately, Riley Brace and Co. have been defeated in three straight games. The club has reacted and fired Head Coach Drew Omicioli and Assistant Coach Tanner Burton. The team will be lead by Andrea De Zordo (U17 coach) in the next games.   

Sat, 17.11.2018: EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel vs. HC Pustertal Wölfe (19:30)
Referees: GAMPER, SUPPER, Martin, Oberhuber.
HC Pustertal Wolves has earned just wins in this Alps Hockey League-season so far. The Leader has been successful in all 14 games, collecting 41 points. The Italians will now continue their campaign in Kitzbühel on Saturday. The Leader has played strong defense so far, allowing fewest goals (17), on average 1,21 goals per game! On the road, the Leader has even given away just four goals out of six matches (Ø: 0,66 goals per game!). On the other side, EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel puts his hopes on goalscorer Adam Havlik. The Czech has potted ten out of Kitzbühels‘ 35 season-goals. Besides, the Tyroleans have surprised in Ljubljana lately, earning a 3:2-win in their first game after the International Break. EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel vs. HC Pustertal Wolves is the meeting of the fairest clubs too: Bruneck has collected fewest PIM (136) so far, KEC second fewest PIM (143).

Sat, 17.11.2018: VEU Feldkirch vs. Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan (19:30)

The best scorers and goalscorers of this Alps Hockey League season will be on the ice in Feldkirch, when VEU hosts Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan on Saturday: Feldkirchs‘ Robin Soudek (17G/14A), Dylan Stanley (9G/20A) and Christian Jennes (8G/9A) or Sterzings‘ Brandon McNally (7G/20A), Kyle Just (14G/9A), Jure Sotlar (9G/10A) are most dangerous in their teams!  But, the two clubs have shown different faces lately: While the Austrians have been successful in three straight games and are ranked on place 3, the Italians got no points out of three straight road-matches. Besides, the VEU has won all four meetings with the Broncos so far.

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors will travel with good memories to HC Fassa Falcons on Saturday! The Mozart Citizens have been successful in all six meetings with Fassa. Besides, the Austrians have had a really good run lately, earning points out of their last seven matches (six wins). On the other hand, HC Fassa Falcons has not been convincing that much lately, the Italians got just one (road-)win out of their last eight games.

Sat, 17.11.2018: HC Gherdeina valgardena.it vs. Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro (20:30)

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it vs. Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro is the only national meeting this weekend. The two Italian clubs are neighbours in the standing as well: The „Furies“ have collected 23 points (eight victories) out of 15 matches so far and are ranked on place 10. Cortina follows with 18 points (six wins) on place 11. Gherdeina has really been convincing lately, the „Furies“ have celebrated four wins in a row, allowing just seven goals within 245 minutes. But, watch out: Cortina has left the ice as the winner in four traight clashes with Gherdeina.

Champion vs. bottom club or Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 vs. EC-KAC II is one out of the eight games played in the Alps Hockey League on Saturday: Each club will try to end their bad run this weekend: The Italians have been defeated in three consecutive games lately and they fell in the ranking to place 7, while Klagenfurt has even been defeated in 13teen straight games. Besides, the Champion has won all four meetings with EC-KAC II so far.

Sun, 18.11.2018: VEU Feldkirch vs. HK SZ Olimpija (18:00)

VEU Feldkirch vs. HK SZ Olimpija will be the first re-match of this season on Sunday! The Austrians have won the first meeting 4:1 in Ljubljana on November 3rd 2018. The Vorarlberger have even won all (three) matches played with the „green dragons“ so far. Furthermore, for each team, the persecutor-clash will be the 2nd match within about 24 hours on Sunday. Prior the third November-weekend, the VEU is ranked on place 3 and Ljubljana is fourth.
