In the Trofeo Ladino, Gherdeina clearly won with 5:0 against the SHC Fassa Falcons. For the South Tyroleans it was the first victory in the current preseason. Man of the match was Max Oberrauch with three goals. Julian Senoner and Leo Messner provided the other goals. Already on Saturday Gherdeina is in action again, then they meet away from home EHC Arosa (SUI).

Three games on Friday
The EC-KAC Future Team will test on Friday at home against Fehérvári Titánok. For the Klagenfurt team it will be the second game in the preseason. In their first match they defeated the Steel Wings Linz with 5:4-SO. The following day, the Future Team will again face the Steel Wings. On Friday, the EK Die Zeller Eisbären will also be in action at the EC Bad Tölz. Also on Saturday it comes to the duel of the Pinzgauer team with the Bavarians. Furthermore it comes to the AHL internal duel between the Rittner Buam and the EHC Lustenau. For the Vorarlberg team it will be the first of two games this weekend. On Sunday they will meet the ESV Kaufbeuren at home.

Bregenzerwald meets Chur
For the EC Bregenzerwald, the preseason continues on Saturday against the EHC Chur. So far, the team from Vorarlberg could win one of their two preseason games. Josef Kutzer will also be part in the test match against the Swiss team, as he extended his contract with the Vorarlberg team.

In the duel Hockey Unterland Cavaliers against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan it comes to another AHL internal duel. Both teams already faced each other last week. At that time the Broncos kept the upper hand with 5:4. Hockey Unterland can continue to rely on Moritz Selva, whose contract has been extended.

Goaltender De Filippo extends contract in Cortina
Another contract extension was announced at S.G. Cortina Hafro. Goalkeeper Marco De Filippo Roia remains for his seventh season with the Italians. Last season, the 32-year-old was the best goalie in the AHL with a save percentage of 93.5%.
