In the 16th minute, Benjamin Nissner slid the puck into the slot to Peter Schneider, who fired a one-timer into the short corner to give Salzburg the lead. After this primary assist, the 25-year-old scored himself to make it 3-0, dryly finishing off a perfect combination in powerplay. For Nissner it was the second goal in the running playoffs, the 18th in this season. His 2-point game now holds him at 0.8 points per playoff game, just shy of his level from last year's "perfect season" (ten points in twelve games). It was the eleventh multiple-point game this season for Nissner, who now stands at 42 points.
