In the European Women’s Hockey League, fourth-placed KSV Highlanders celebrated a narrow 2:1 home victory in overtime against seventh-placed HK PSRZ Bratislava on Thursday. Lena Dauböck scored the game-winning goal.

The visitors from Slovakia took the lead in the 18th minute through Ema Tothova before the Highlanders equalized in the 31st minute thanks to Sara Confidenti. In a low-scoring game, the match eventually went to overtime, where Lena Dauböck netted the winner in the 62nd minute to secure the home victory for the Styrian side. With this win, the Highlanders now hold a four-point lead over Bratislava in the standings, although Bratislava have played three fewer games.
