Peter Schneider has been under contract with the EC Red Bull Salzburg since 2021 and has won the championship every year since then. The two teams will face each other again right at the start of the season, which is already the first highlight of the season for the forward.

“I'm generally looking forward to the start. But it's great to play the first game in Carinthia against the KAC. It will certainly be an exciting duel in front of a sold-out arena. I'm really looking forward to it,” says Peter Schneider about the first highlight of the season against the KAC, which can be seen live and exclusively on PULS 24 and JOYN on Friday at 7:30 pm (available worldwide).

The 33-year-old first played in the win2day ICE Hockey League from 2017 to 2019. Back then, Schneider played in Vienna before moving to the Czech Republic and Switzerland before joining Salzburg in 2021. According to Schneider, a lot has changed since his first of now 290 games in the ICE Hockey League: “The league has definitely taken a big step forward in terms of strength, teams, squads and speed. I notice myself that it's getting more difficult every year to be successful and score goals. That definitely sets the league apart.”
