For the first time in league history, Peter Schneider wins the "Ron Kennedy Trophy" for the second time. Three years ago, the winger - then with the spusu Vienna Capitals - was awarded this honour. With 28 goals, the 30-year-old currently leads the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League scoring charts. He also finished first in the regular season scorer standings with a total of 52 points. Peter Schneider scored two hat tricks in the regular season and also recorded two four-point games.

The Austrian national team player received the most votes of all players in the MVP voting with 40 points and was named first nine times. Only two points behind, his Salzburg teammate T.J. Brennan landed in second place. John Hughes from EC GRAND Immo VSV and Radek Prokes from HC Tesla Orli Znojmo share third place.

The MVP award thus goes to Salzburg for the third time after the 2008/09 (Thomas Koch) and 2019/20 (Jean-Philippe Lamoureux) seasons. Peter Schneider will be honoured during the quarterfinal series.
