Philippe Horsky assists Mair at Pustertal

The HC Pustertal Wölfe has expanded its coaching staff for the upcoming season in the win2day ICE Hockey League with Philippe Horsky. The 39-year-old Austrian was last coaching for four years in Sweden and is now completing the team around Head Coach Stefan Mair. The previous assistant Matej Hocevar leaves the South Tyroleans after three seasons.

Former Austrian national team player Philippe Horsky ended his career – he won two championships with EC-KAC – early and entered the coaching business at the age of 27. Initially active in the youth departments of the spusu Vienna Capitals, he also worked as interim head coach of the Viennese in 2015. This was followed by a move abroad. Initially to Sweden to Örebor's youth department, then to Sion in Switzerland, last he worked the last four seasons back in Sweden.
