Florchuk brings versatility as both a center and a winger. Over the past four seasons, he suited up for 104 games in Canadian U Sports hockey, racking up 100 points. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing in at 194 pounds, the left-handed shot is known for his strong skill set, solid vision, and high hockey IQ.

Back in 2018, Florchuk was selected in the seventh round of the NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals. After his time in the Western Hockey League, he chose the college route, developing into a reliable two-way forward during his collegiate career.

Signing with Vorarlberg marks Florchuk’s first stint in European hockey.
