The Bemer Pioneers Vorarlberg have found the missing pieces of the puzzle on offense: Michael and Nick Pastujov will go hunting for goals for the Pioneers in the upcoming season. The Bemer Pioneers Vorarlberg sign the brothers Pastujov. The older brother, Nick Pastujov, already ventured into men's ice hockey in the American Hockey League or ECHL. There, his record was 113 points (48G | 65A) in 139 games. The 25-year-old reached the AHL finals with the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Only Wednesday night the Firebirds had to admit defeat in the all-decisive final Game 7 in overtime.

For Michael, who is one year younger, it will be his second professional year. He, similar to his brother, has gone through all the junior stops in the American system and played for the Iowa Heartlanders in the ECHL (37G | 26P) after his time at the University of Michigan. An injury then slowed Mike Pastujov down.

Dylan Stanley on Nick Pastujov: "Nick was an NHL draft pick, one of the top players at the University of Michigan and recently captained his team in the ECHL. After three years as a professional player, he comes to us at the peak of his career. Nick has all the skills to be a top player in our league. He is the complete package of a hockey player and I expect big things from him this season, both on and off the ice."

Dylan Stanley on Michael Pastujov: "Michael has tremendous offensive potential and would have been one of the top scorers in the ECHL this season had he not gotten injured. The chemistry Michael will have with his brother Nick will give the coaches some very good opportunities to generate offense."
