In addition to the formal agenda items, Pioneers Vorarlberg were officially welcomed to the win2day ICE Hockey League on Thursday. The new team from Feldkirch has provided all the necessary obligations for league entry for the 2022/23 season. In addition, it was decided to accept Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey in principle. Provided that the open points on the obligation list will be fulfilled, the Italians, who most recently secured the championship title in the Alps Hockey League, will also take part in the championship in the upcoming season.

In the course of the General Assembly, the Vice Presidents Dr. Karl Safron, Dr. Dieter Knoll and Franz Kalla were confirmed in their positions for another two years. The entire presidium of the win2day ICE Hockey League is in charge until 2024.

In addition, the clubs were in favor of a continuation of the streaming initiative, which will be further expanded. In the 2022/23 season, all games not shown on free TV on PULS 24 will be available on live.ice.hockey. Already in the past season, more than 560 hours of the high-quality club productions were offered on the league platform and a media value of almost 2.5 million euros was generated.

League President Kommerzialrat Mag. Jochen Pildner-Steinburg: "We are pleased that Vorarlberg remains on our league map. With Feldkirch we welcome a very traditional location, which is an enrichment for the win2day ICE Hockey League. With the inclusion of Asiago, the originally decided league size of14 clubs will be maintained."
