The Leader could fix the first place and qualify for the Champions Hockey League season 2019/20 with three points. The Black Wings need the three points in the fight for a Top 6 spot after round 44.  The Austrians are ranked on place 7 right now, they miss two points for place 6.
• The Black Wings have never been forced to go to the Qualification Round so far.
• KHL Medvescak Zagreb will try to end their bad run in Linz on Friday: The Croatians have been defeated in 24 straight games (negativ record).

• Each team will try to end bad runs in Villach on Friday: The Eagles have been defeated in six straight games, the west-club lost three games in a row.
• The Dornbirn Bulldogs will travel with good memories to Villach. The Vorarlberger have been successful in four straight clashes with the Eagles.
• Netminder Juhana Aho will play for the Dornbirn Bulldogs this weekend. The 25-year old Finn arrives for two games on loan from Finish Liiga club Mikkelin Jukurit.
