Pustertal and Zell am See with contract extensions

While Tobias Dinhopel and Florian Aigner will also hit the ice for EK Zeller Eisbären in the upcoming Sky Alps Hockey League season, HC Pustertal announced even eight contract extensions. Beside goalie Thomas Tragust and national team player Raphael Andergassen, Maximilian Lancsar, David Laner, Elias Thum, Alex De Lorenzo Meo, Maximilian Leitner and Ivan Althuber will stay with the club, too.

EK Zeller Eisbären succeeded an important signing with go-to guy Tobias Dinhopel playing at least one more season for the club. The Leoben native started playing hockey for EV Zeltweg and transferred to Graz and Kapfenberg later. In 2012 he came to Zell am See and became an important player early. Last campaign the 27-year-old gained 14 goals and 14 assists, being the best scorer of the team with Fredrik Widen. Local player Florian Aigner also extended his contract with the polar bears.
 
Pustertal's roster grows
After signing league MVP Eric Pance, HC Pustertal announced some contract extensions. National team player Raphael Andergassen heads into his third season the the club. Last campaign he had 45 games for Pustertal (39 points) and 25 more matches for Italy. He will become a key player next season as well as goalie Thomas Tragust. Last season the netminder had the best goals against average and saved most shots on goal. "I'm really happy to play another year in Brunico. I'm ready for the next challenge", reports the 31-year-old.
 
Beside the two defenders Maximilian Leitner (18 years) and Ivan Althuber (23), the young talents Elias Thum (20), Alex de Lorenzo Meo (20), David Laner (19) and Maximilian Lancsar (21) will wear the yellow and black jersey next season again.
